The 2009-20010 Viking Wrestling Team is returning a strong group and we will welcome a highly regarded freshman group into their program. Fed by Ripley Middle School and Coach Matt Smith, Ripley is continuously producing solid young wrestlers.

Ripley comes off its best finish at the state tournament finishing 3rd place in the AAA Division and placing 6 individual state placers. They return 12 out of 14 starters from last years starting team.

Returning for the Vikings are sophomore returning state champions Corey Ratliff and Adam Bicak. Senior returning state placers Tyler White (3rd), Luke Parsons(5th) and Ronnie Mullins(5th). And sophomore returning state placer Jared Burdette(5th)

With a strong off season program, Ripley High School continues on their path to the top of AAA high school wrestling.
