  Nitro's 41st Pat Vance Invitational will be held on January 7th and 8th this season. I'd like to get a jump on identifying the teams that plan to attend this season so when you get a chance, please reply to this email with your intentions.
  
  As always, the tournament will be 32-wrestler double-elimination brackets and we will be recognizing the top six places in each weight.
  
  Currently, teams that have confirmed their intentions to attend include Buffalo, Herbert Hoover, McCreary Central KY, and Nitro.
  
  Teams invited include (I hope I haven't missed anyone) Cabell Midland, Calhoun County, Capital, Chesapeake OH, George Washington, Hurricane, Johnson Central KY, Lawrence County KY, Lewis County, Liberty Harrison, Lincoln County, Logan, Poca, Riverside, Saint Albans, Shady Spring, Sheldon Clark KY, South Charleston, Spring Valley, Winfield, Woodrow Wilson, and Wyoming East.

  Looking to add 4 more middle school teams to The West Virginia Army National Guard Wrestling Tournament to make it a 10 team pool tournament January 22, 2011.
  There will be trophies given to the top 6 teams. This is a great way to get 5 matches in one day at a great price! The date of the tournament will be with a $50.00 entry fee. Middle School Teams already competing: Summersville, Richwood, Sissonville,Fayetteville, Meadow Bridge and Webster.

  Woodgrove High School is a new school opening in the fall of 2010 in western Loudoun County. (Woogrove school district borders Jefferson County, WV) Woodgrove is hosting the First Annual "Get Your Bell Rung" Rotational. We are looking for teams to fill out this tournament.

  6 Teams, 3 Mats, 5 Rounds of Dual meets - No byes
  We will be trying a different format for team championship. Dual meets scores will obviously be kept, but the team champion will be determined by total number of falls on the day. Tie-breaker will be least amount of total time. We feel this will be entertaining and extra motivating late in the season. Team names will be posted on the wall and large "F's" for falls will be posted under team names after each pin. (Similar to baseball stadiums where they post "K's" for strikeouts. Each time one is posted, a bell will be rung to notify the crowd. Thus the title "Get Your Bell Rung" Rotational. Outstanding pinner trophy will also be given to individual wrestler with the most falls/least time.

  Looking to add two more teams to our already successful 29th Annual Keyser Kiwanis Tournament to make it a 10 team pool tournament. There will be trophies given to the top four teams. This is a great way to get 5 matches in one day at a great price! The date of the tournament will be December 11th as usual and will stay at the $75.00 entry fee (and yes the great hospitality room will be open!!).   Ryle High School in Union, KY (30 min South of Cincinnati) has one opening in the Raider Rumble to be held on December 11, 2010. Each weight class will be limited to 16 wrestlers and split into 4 pools of 4 wrestlers. Extras will be taken to fill the weight class up to 16 wrestlers and we wrestle and score 1st-8th place.
  
  The competition has steadily gotten better over the years and will have the top 3 teams and 6 of the top 10 from Kentucky as well as the #3 team in AA from Virginia. We are looking to not only improve the tournament overall, but also increase the out of state teams as well. Current list of teams below.

  The 16 team dual advancement tournament will take place on Thursday December 30, 2010.
  Teams will receive four to five matches against top competition. The 7th Annual Hawk Duals featured four teams that finished in the top ten of their state tournaments. (Westfield #3 VA-AAA, James River #7 VA-AAA, Hanover #8 VA-AAA, Millbrook #7 VA-AA) Several others finished in the top twenty.
