Lincoln County High School opened in 2006-07 as a consolidation of Guyan Valley High School in Branchland, Duval High School in Griffithsville, Hamlin High School in Hamlin, and Harts High School in Harts. With this consolidation, the sport of wrestling was resurrected in Lincoln County after a long hiatus.

2009-2010 is the fourth year for wrestling at Lincoln County High School. The team has made great strides over the past three years, and now boasts national qualifiers and a competetive team. Go County!
