Directions to school: Take I-79 to Exit 119 (Route 50 - Clarksburg/Bridgeport). Turn onto Route 50 West toward Parkersburg. Follow for approximately 5 miles to Route 98 Junction (at stop light). Take a left on Route 98 and travel Ť mile. Take another left, staying on Route 98, for another Ť mile. Take a left into the school (main parking is in back).

Finding effective leadership will be the number one focus for a Mountaineer team that has no wrestler on the roster with more than two years of high school wrestling experience. Senior state qualifier, Brent McNemar will return to the mat after a one year absence due to injury. A talented quartet of sophomores will be expected to grow up early and contribute even more than last year if Liberty is to be expected to equal their state tournament performance of last season. Will Host will attempt join state qualifiers Logan Gillespie, Daniel Fultz, and state finalist, Tommy Dodd on a trip to Huntington in February. Dodd, who became the first ever Liberty Freshman to reach the state finals in the 08/09 campaign, will try to reach the podium's pinnacle this season.

For the second year in a row, Liberty will benefit from experienced freshmen from Steve Harlow's Mountaineer Middle program. Calvin Anderson will continue to develop Liberty's youth feeder, as the Clarksburg Panthers enter their 23rd season of existence.
