Cameron High School is proof that small schools can wrestle big. One of the smallest public schools in West Virginia with a wrestling program (approximately 390 students in grades 7-12), Cameron has been West Virginia A/AA State Champions four times (1991-1994), and runner up three times (1985, 2001, 2004). Cameron has also been third in the state 3 times from 1998 to 2000. Since the addition of a A State Champion being named, Cameron has been A State Champions once in 2022 and Runner up twice, (2021 and 2023).
