Edition – Preseason 1
Date of Issue: October 5, 2022
1. Wrestlers are ranked per established criteria. Ranking will change as head to head matches occur, wrestlers change weight classes and when a wrestler enters into action.
2. For preseason edition 1, only wrestlers that made it to the state tournament blood round or placed will be ranked.
3. Remaining state tournament qualifiers will be ranked in edition 2 and 3.

Brodie Emery from University is 3-1 against Ward and finished ahead of he and Tyson at regionals. Y’all act like he doesn’t exist removing him from the state qualifiers list and leaving him off of here all because he missed weight at the state tournament? There were kids that were literally ejected from the tournament that were stripped of their podium and their points. That’s ok though, they still have to wrestle.

This is PREseason 1. Many wrestlers, including state place winners, have not been included. This is a process. The process has begun and will never end until the 2023 state tournament completes.

Bearhugger is in charge of doing his rankings in the way he feels in unbiased and fair, so that's his choice. I understand your point, but I'm also wondering if how Brodie did against Ward and Tyson is relevant. Will he actually be wrestling again at 113 after missing that weight more than 6 months ago? Just curious what the plan for this season is (and before anyone jumps to the wrong conclusion, there is no hidden message in the question).
