Once again, if your feelings are going to get hurt, then please switch to another discussion topic.
AA/A 106 is another cool discussion topic how rankings vs regions vs the pill line up.
1. AA/A 106 is the ONLY weight class where last season's Champion, runner up and third place winner are all BACK, in the SAME weight class and all three are still in the top three.
2. All three of these "big bangs in small packages" are all in different regions.
3. All ranking organizations agree that the top 6 are Davis, Perdue, Boland, Pettit, High and Hess. High made it to the 106 blood round last season. Pettit and Hess are PPs (Phreshmen Phenoms).
The high probability prediction by region is as follows: Region 1 Champion Davis, Region 2 Champion Boland, Region 3 Champion Perdue and Region 4 Champion High. Pettit and Hess are forecasted to finish 2 and 3 in region 1 behind Davis.
Before the Pill analysis begins, the Region 1 champion has the best seat "in da pill house" in Huntington. Yes, there are more higher ranked wrestlers in region one, but the region one seeds should be Davis #1, Pettit #2 and Hess #3. Davis only has to defeat the winner of Pettit vs Hess.
Pill 1:
Region 1 Champion Davis and Region 2 Champion Boland are in the top bracket. Region 3 Champion Perdue is in the bottom bracket and is headed toward Region 2 runner up Pettit in the quarterfinals. WHERE? The quarterfinals. Region 4 Champion High is on a quarterfinal match up with Region 1 third placer Hess. NOW LETS REVIEW pill 1. RETURNING State Champion Perdue is on course to have the toughest quarterfinal match out of all of the top 6 ranked wrestlers. Furthermore, four out of the top 6 are all in the bottom bracket. Two on the top half and four on the bottom half.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Well, I guess the cream will rise to the top.
Pill 2:
R1 Champ Davis and R4 Champ High are in the top half. R2 Champ Boland and Region 3 Champ Perdue are in the bottom half. This scenario puts both returning 106 state finalists in the semifinals together.............if they make it. Perdue hits Hess in the quarterfinals and Boland hits Pettit in the quarterfinals. We have the two returning state finalists both having tough quarterfinal matches.
Pills 3:
#1 ranked, Region 1 Champion Davis and #2 ranked, returning state champion and region 3 champion Perdue are in the same side of the bracket.
Region 2 champion Boland and Region 4 Champion High are on the bottom half. High should hit Pettit in the quarterfinals and Boland should hit Hess in the quarterfinals.
Davis of Oak Glen earned the #1 seed in region 1. If he wins his region, he will have one tough match in the regional finals. He will then have "da best seat in da house" in Huntington.
Wrestlers luck out based on what region their school is in. What the wrestlers do during the season sets their seed within the region. Then luck sets back in on what the pill says.
In conclusion, the fourth placer out of region 2 might hit four cowboys in Huntington, pin his way to a title and get voted MOW. On any given day, anything can happen. The cream always rises to the top.
PS: With the grumblings among truck drivers these days, there might not be any cream on the shelf at the grocery store.

It doesn't take that much time. Less than 30 minutes. What did you spend all day doing?
