Although this might be old news to some, I suspect the news has not made it around the state.
Point Pleasant's 3x state champion Derek Raike has signed to continue his wrestling career with OHIO University. Derek just received the MOW at the Lake Norman Duals while going undefeated and not having a close match. He is heavily favored to win his fourth state title this season.
In other news, WVU lost to Ohio University today by a score of 30 to 9. WVU won two matches out of 10 weight classes. 20%.
6 of the 9 points, or 66.66% of the points came from West Virginia's own Peyton Hall. Hall was also a 4x WV state champion.

After the whooping Ohio University put on the Mountaineers it appears that Raike made a very good choice.

Are we after Barttee (or however you spell it)? I’d of liked to of had Raike but we have a lot of guys his size. Surely wvu is after the Park South soph?
