• Non-placing wrestlers get ranked for close losses to returning state placers.
• Non-placing wrestlers now get ranked for significant performance such as winning a tournament or placing well in a more substantial tournament.

They were on the radar BEFORE Edition 1 was made public. I couldn't find scores that verified what weight classes they were in. More Clay scores were posted yesterday evening afterwards. Look for them to be on edition 2 later this week.

A side note. With the whacked out situations everybody has been in, it has stalled my wrestling enthusiasm too. After being banned from Super 32, I just couldn't get interested in wrestling until this week.

There has been no tracking down the "word on the street" in previous months.

There are a few very significant wrestlers out there that are not ranked. This season, I am not ranking them until I see their name in the scores.

I did learn last night that a returning runner up is NOT wrestling this season.

KEEP the feedback coming. Thanks!!!

Answer this for me Sleeveless Wonder. Of the South wrestlers you mentioned, where and how have they met the criteria outlined at the beginning of the rankings?

The word on the street is one of the wrestlers you mentioned has a cast on his arm. I will rank him after he has had a match.

I cannot find where Lemus has had a match yet. I have not had his weight class verified. If he wrestles tonight, he will get ranked in edition 2 because he is a returning state placer.

As for the others, they will be ranked as they meet the criteria.

I didn't rank wrestlers in edition 1 this season based on being returning STQ.

Be patient and don't get your sleeves in a wad.

Thus they are both ranked #1 in their respective weight classes since they have not been beaten (even if every victory was by decisions).

However, Tamburin has not pinned everyone he has faced. He did not pin Ripley's 285 lbs wrestler.

No disrespect intended to their competition thus far, but none of these results are listed here as they did not come against any of Bearhugger's "significant" opponents at the time this was posted. Brothers has since pinned Bennet of BuchUp and Price of Point. Tamburin may soon be facing a top challenger when the wrestle Washington soon.

Brothers' significant wins were noted behind the scenes but edition 3 for these weight classes fell behind. They will be seen in 4.0

Thanks

I'm not sure if we can let you get away calling it 4.0. Might have to label it 3.5 since no real 3.0 was ever produced. At least that's my initial thoughts. By the way, good to see you back in the wrestling world last night.
