285 winners choice

Postby Fogsy » Sun Jan 15, 2017 8:37 pm

I thought there was some tough competition at the winners choice in the 285 class this weekend top four ranked kids in the semis as expected I believe The kid from fairmont senior was tough too. Hated seeing Holstein get hurt. That's always awful Does anyone know how he is? And congratulations to all the kids in that class as well as all the placers

Darryl is a young man with exceptional heart. He has been battling this injury all season. Tough to have this your senior year. Especially, if healthy he would be extremely difficult to handle. I wouldn't expect him back before Regionals. Time will tell.

I would like to add. Very impressed with young Mr. Haga from Parkersburg South. He is a tough wrestler, well coached and very respectful. Thanks to not only him, but the coaching staff at Parkersburg South. They were a class act during that match. Young Mr. Haga made it a point to come up to check on Darryl after the match. Much respect from Riverside High School.

Get him healed up and ready for regions. We know how tough it is to get injured and finish out a season. Louden has been there a few times as well. we don't like to see an athlete get hurt and miss out on the sport.

I agree that Hwt from FSHS is a stud bolt, pinned barta from NM in the 1st period tonight.
