Any input on top 5 in each class A/AA-AAA?

195 has Adams in AA/A and AAA has Allman. Both are on course to seek out a Dutton Award and should meet up at the WSAZ.

Of course I am biased in this 195 bracket. Pomeroy from Riverside should shock a lot of kids this year, and coaches. He defeated Worley 5-0, and has already pinned Lundsford. I expect to see him top three minimum. He has yet to see Safford, and Allman, but I imagine it will be a dog fight.

Pomeroy lost to Holley 4-2 according to the scores page. But i do think Allman, Safford and Pomeroy are tops in AAA 195. Looks like Holley will be competing at 182

Don't forget Brandon White. White was 50-1 last year with only loss coming to Daniels in the semi's. He probably hasn't lost but 8-10 matches in HS career.

@ Frank Stein, you are correct, my mistake. He lost to Holley 4-2, and beat Worley from WW 5-0. For some reason I got them mixed up.

branden white lost 1 match in2015, 7 matches in 2014 and 10 in 2013 for a total of 18 career high school losses he placed 2nd in region 4 in 2013 but for some reason did not compete at states. i was also not aware pomroy beat lundsford so my updated aaa top 3 are 1-allman-south 2-safford-pp 3-pomroy-riv. i also heard holley is going to 182.

Might not be in the finals if they are put in same bracket!
Oh wait... Only State Tournament does stuff like that.

Allman is very good, but I think that Adams is on a totally different level. It will be a great match nonetheless. I see it going 10-2 Adams.

If I'm not mistaken, B White was beating a kid from (possibly Williamstown who won the state title) in the regionals ( when he finished 2nd) and snapped his elbow into and had screws put in it. I did not realize that he had lost that many matches in his career....that surprises me some. I heard rumors of him bumping up to 215 or even down to 182.

If he goes 215 he will literally be in a class of his own. Unless he has a delorean and a flux capacitor set for 2010 or earlier the rest of the wrestlers around that weight will be at 220

Allman and Adams are both great wrestlers and i thought Adams would come out on top if they wrestled.
But i'm not so sure anymore.
Allman beat Duggan who just got 3rd at the Powerade tournament and Duggan
has beat some of the kids Adams has lost to this year. ( Super 32 )
It should be a great match if it happins.

Should be a great match with contrasting styles of wrestling. Could see Allman vs Adams on back to back weekends. (WSAZ and WV Duals)
I might add that Point's Grant Safford is also in the WSAZ tournament and is very talented also. Probably others too.

There might be a surprise showing in 195 this weekend.

We have a surprise at 195 coming? Cool. Is this going to be a masked wrestler from parts unknown?
Do the rules allow for a wrestler to weigh in with a mask on?

A mask would be good lol. But being absent from the mat for a yr and a half is a surprise in itself.

I'll bite. Probably Anthony Jarvis-Ripley or maybe Brody Thomas-Herbert Hoover?

I hope that neither Adams's nor Allman's coaches have them forfeit the match to preserve their records.
I can't wait to see who the surprise rassler is. I was always a big fan of Mr wrestling #2

Wow, their is an uninformed post. Independence and South do not protect their wrestler's records. They seek out competition and wrestle more challenging schedules than most teams almost every year.

He looked good for being away for over a year. Once he gets in a little better mat shape, he will likely be in the mix to place at states.
