DI Bracket Competition Fundraiser

John Marshall Wrestling will be hosting a "March Mattness" bracket competition as a fundraiser this season! This competiton will be based on the D1 NCAA Wrestling Championships on March 21-23, 2024. Facebook event page: https://fb.me/e/1l06HDnxJ

Team Selection will be completed as followed:
- 1 of each seed #1-10. For seeds 1-10, you can only choose 1 wrestler per weight class, so if you choose the #1 at 197, your 2-10 seed cannot also be in the 197 weight class.
- An 11 Seed, any weight class
- A 12 Seed, any weight class
- 1 "Wild Card" choice of a 13-33 seed from any weight class, giving you a total of 13 athletes on your 'team'.

Team score will decide the winner, based on normal tournament scoring. Trackwrestling score calculations will be used.

If there is a tie, tiebreaking criteria will be:
1. Most NCAA Champions
2. Most NCAA Finalists
3. Most top 4
4. Most AA's
5. Most Athletes in blood round


Entry will be $10 per team entered. You may enter a second team if you wish, for an additional $10.

No entries will be accepted after 8:00am on Thursday, March 21.


Prizes:
1st Place - 30% of Prize Pool
2nd Place - 15% of Prize Pool
3rd Place - 5% of Prize Pool

**As this is the first year of this event, I am doing a % based payout. We are unsure of how many entries will be submitted, but hope to have a lot of participation! **
