The regional brackets have the AAA 182s seeded as follows through #5
Region 1
1 Nixon 36 – 7
2 Wallace 36 – 7
3 Taylor 30 – 9
4 Carnes 19 – 5
5 Moore 21 – 9
Region 2
1 Marandola 31 – 10
2 Crutchley 29 – 10
3 Herndon 20 – 9
4 Straight 39 – 15
5 Lewis 29 – 21
Region 3
1 Edge 41 – 7
2 Roberts 4 – 11
3 Carter 15 – 17
4 Amburgey 4 – 14
5 No Entry
Region 4
1 Edwards 29 - 9
2 Giompalo 28 - 3
3 Misner 25 – 12
4 Ramey 13 – 17
5 Booth 6 – 3
If the wrestlers place in the region in the order of their seed, Pill 2 would look like this:
Top Half of the Bracket:
Nixon vs Amburgey
Giompalo vs Herndon
Edge vs Carnes
Crutchley vs Misner
Bottom Half of the Bracket:
Edwards vs Straight
Wallace vs Carter
Marandola vs Ramey
Roberts vs Taylor
Pill 2 is not near as bad as Pill 1. At least Pill 2 doesn’t have any ranked wrestlers meeting on Thursday night. It is interesting the difference of what number is drawn out of a hat can determine if two ranked wrestlers meet on Thursday night opening round or they meet in the quarterfinals.
