AAA Regional Parity

It appears to me their was no regional dominance this year in AAA as has been in years past.
The top four teams were from each region.
1 - Region 4, South
2 - Region 2, Spring Mills
3 - Region 1, Wheeling Park
4 - Region 3, St. Albans
I don't know when this has happened in the past.

And the Regions were well represented in state champions
Reg 1 - 3
Reg 2 - 4
Reg 3 - 2
Reg 4 - 5

I don't know the number of state placers broke down by region but it was good to see each region bring quality to the top at the state tournament.
I think it was five or six years ago when regional realignment occurred and took the the top teams from Region 1 (South and PHS) and Region 3 (Ripley) and placed them in with Region 4 with perennial powers Huntington and Cabell Midland, which then (Region 4) went on to dominate the state for the next few years.
Now the question is will the state tournament stay balanced or is this just a one year coincidence?
