Thank you to all the teams who came to Clarksburg for this tournament.

Congratulations to Braxton County for taking Home the team title. Also congratulations to Austin Pumphrey of Frankfort on being named Outstanding Lightweight Wrestler and Garrett Ware of Grafton for being named Outstanding Heavyweight Wrestler.

Final team scores from both days will be posted by tomorrow evening. We encourage teams who participated to post their detailed results on the results page. Liberty-H will be posting detailed scores from the teams we faced.

There were many quality matches this weekend. We tried to keep things moving as best we could. We look forward to seeing all these teams back next year!

Nice job,no delays, action kept flowing smoothly both days.

Missed day 1.. made day 2... went pretty quick saw several good matches. Lots of people, lots of wrestlers. Might want to look for a bigger place. It's growing !

I could have miscounted, but I think these are accurate. No idea of tie-breaks for the teams that tied, so I just listed them in random order, not how they finished. Also no scores were submitted for Grafton vs. Lincoln, so they show one less win/loss in their record.

it doesn't appear that they re-pooled on Day 2 like a standard dual tourney. But, i could be missing something.

Well, after looking maybe they did. It looks like the top 5 are:

1. Braxton
2. Keyser
3. Liberty Harrison
4. Clay
5. Fayetteville

I think Lib Raleigh is not top 5 because they got most of their 7 wins in the 2nd group of teams

On day 1 LibH beat Clay 51-30, so that should give them the nod above Clay. Common opponent prob decided LibR and Clay and it looks like the Fayetteville match-up decides that since they both beat Roane and Doddridge and both lost to Keyser. I don't see any other common opponents.

So it should be:

3. Lib H
4. Clay
5. Lib R

I want to add that this tourney was run wonderfully. Everything went smooth, there was never any confusion about where to be or anything, the hospitality room was excellent (Shepard's pie anyone?)...just a well organized two days of wrestling. Kudos to the coaching staff and parents that put it together.
