Originally they were seeding through 8. 6 Regional champs were 1-6 and 2 runner ups filled 7 and 8.

Just bumping this one back up. Curious if there is a seeding meeting and how seeding is determined. Head to head, accomplishments past and present make sense, but my question would be how is that information compiled? Coaches/parents? Regional directors?

I didn't think points mattered. I asked today since results of events are still missing but was told they only mattered for,regionals if they needed a tiebreaker.

I am not sure some of the other recent (last 2-3 weeks) tournaments have results or points added to the site. I would expect/hope since they were qualifying tournaments they will be factored in.

Someone from WVYWA will have to confirm but I was told my son did not have to make base at a qualifier if he wrestled that weight class and made base in middle school. Our middle school is simply not allowed to travel for sporting events farther than 2 counties. It is a school/athletic director decision not a county one. Just clarifying to make sure it is clear to me, we haven't made a qualifier yet but my son wrestles for the middle school. He doesn't need to wrestle in a qualifier, his middle school weight takes care of making weight but he does have to wrestle in his region. Is that all correct? Sorry to rehash, ...
