Not sure how all teams do it, but isn’t there typically a wrestle off that is done prior to regionals where the winner is the one that goes? I have also heard that some teams use their individual results from their Conference tournament to decide? I have no knowledge of Geno’s situation or how EF does it so this is more of a general question. I always thought that in the wrestle off scenario your body of work was not important. It is all about who wins the wrestle off even if the JV 10-25 wrestler beats the varsity 30-5 wrestler.

With this situation I say one more wrestle off , parents , head staff of EF principal and super there , real match ref and all if the current starter is better then there shouldn't be any proble with letting them wrestle the cream always rises to the top.
