Clarification please. Not wrestling next week. The rematch of the South vs Indy is not going to take place? Anyone with the ability to expand on this or verify this statement please come forward.

South Wrestling team was forced to cancel out of Powerade yesterday due to contagious skin conditions on the team. The Independence and GW tri has also been cancelled. The entire team is being put on medication to ensure that the skin condition is taken care before we hit the mat again.

The team is trying to find a date to reschedule the Independence/GW triangular.

No one hates this more than us. However, it is the prudent and responsible thing to do. The last thing we would want to do is to spread this condtion to any other team or individual.

Very unfortunate for this team to have to sit out of the Powerade Tournament, especially for the seniors who would have competed in their last one.

Very professional and difficult call by the coaching staff, but the right choice none the less. Better now than late February though.
