Wood County Championship venue move

The County Championship will now be at the Elite Center in South Parkersburg on Friday evening. Consolation semis will begin at 6:00 and the Championship Finals roughly 7:15.

We have been bumped when PHS qualified to host a MSAC playoff game. That's great for them.

Through rain, hail, sleet or snow, wrestling will survive. Shoot, I'll set up mats in Walmart's parking lot if it comes to that.

We have had the championship before at the elite center, it will work out fine.

Why wasn't this wrestled at South, was there a soccer tournament there or something?

Nope, band concerts are the only reason they miss a wrestling tournament ... LOL
