Seeding for WSAZ tournament
1. Returning WSAZ Champion in same weight class
2. Returning WSAZ Champion in different weight class
3. Returning WSAZ placer
4. Head-to-head
5. Common opponent
6. Overall record

So obviously the wrestler that is 0-0 is a returning WSAZ champion or placer. Maybe they are 0-0 in that weight class (moved up or down for WSAZ). A lot of wrestlers due this because they have wrestled in the wrong weight class all year to help out teams during duals. So really not that crazy! Who comes up with this stuff, the middle school coaches I believe agreed to this seeding criteria years ago. Also, if they are seeded wrong, no big deal the cream rises to the top anyway.

I’m really looking forward to the 90 lb weight class. Simon, Carpenter, and Woyan are all excellent. Going to be interesting to see who comes out on top.

90 and 110 may be the most loaded weight classes.

Hinzman and Sams at 155 is also a match I’m really looking forward to.

I also think that these York PA kids are going to bust some brackets. When I first saw the seeds, I thought a Roberts/Talley showdown was imminent at 102. However, the 8th seed may ruin that party.

Gunnar Andrick, Gage Wright, Trenton Jones, and Kehler...all have to be overwhelming favorites.

I dont agree with the seed only because he hasn't wrestled that weight all year. Both kids are wrestling well but I do believe Osborne wins the match.
