We are still ironing out the details for entry fees, start times and weight classes for girls, and should finalize within the next week or two. This is a first year tournament and a fund-raiser for the second year program Gilmer County.

The Waco Center is a state of the art, 3000 seat sports arena that was completed in 2014. There is plenty of floor space for mats and a jumbo screen where we can broadcast the matches on.

Western Greenbrier
Barboursville
Braxton County
Ritchie County
Calhoun County
Mountain Ridge (Musselman's feeder)

There is another half dozen or so interested teams that is leaning towards coming. Off the top of my head are:

Washington Irving
East Hardy
Blennerhassett Girls

Scratch Mountain Ridge MS. Berkeley County canceled middle school wrestling this year. I hate that this happened.

Unfortunately this tournament was not announced until after I had already signed a contract to take our Shady Spring HS girls to an out of state tournament on the same day.
