South's Jarritt Flynn place 6th in the state tournament in 2016.

In 2017, he did not qualify for the state tournament due to finishing 5th in the newly created and very brutal AAA region 4.

A higher placing wrestler has scratched, thus opening the door for Flynn.

I now have an all points bulletin on this weight class.

Probably a top four placer; good for this deserving wrestler along with some others out R4. Feel bad for Huntington and Stewart he is quality wrestler that would have made some noise and most likely top four placer.

Looks like he will face Owen Ziders from UNIV in the first round. Last time they met to my knowledge, Ziders won 4-0. If he gets past Ziders he will probably get Carder in the semis.

Didn't realize that tough road for him, Zeiders is a good one, very competitive class.

Keep the APB out...looks like it'll be a bit longer before this guy gets to wrestle in Huntington. Geesh.

I agree. Those that were present on Thursday, February 23, 2017 and weighed in, and yes, they weighed in 145, 152, 170 wrestlers, should be the ones that are officially entered and allowed to wrestle in the tournament, whether delayed or not. To requalify a disqualified wrestler would be setting another precedence.

According to Bill Archer, tournament director, and Bernie Dolan, WVSSAC Executive Director, Flynn from Parkersburg South is on the bracket.
