I don't see 152 Dalton Micheal EF beating Will Cox Indy. Cox is just a freak of nature

These are legitimate and intelligent picks. However, I see approximately 1/3 of the weight classes going another way.

Fan1046........Will Cox is certainly legit without a doubt. Freak of nature.....maybe.
Michael fairs well in the bracket due to the pill. But, with that being said, he sits at 199 career wins against top notch competition.
Lost in the semis at the winners choice to Ritchie from Calhoun 2-1 and has had laser vision ever since !! Ever hear the old saying that a loss will sometimes do you good ??
This weight class will be worth the price of admission my friend !!

Did Will Cox move up a weight class for his team.If he did i hope he wins it
cause that is tuff weight class.

A/AA 126 is a beast this year but i think Corey Secrist, Petersburg wins it.

168-22 career record against nationally ranked competition from across the country. Three time placefinisher, returning champ, All American.
He may wrestle for our cross county rival but my money would be on Cox.

Well said "Shady" and valid as well. This isn't a respect issue what so ever. This entire weight class is legit.
I think the buzz with this weight class is the fact that some have never crossed paths and they all have outstanding resumes.
Cox/Shuman in the quarters .....have they met previously ?
Shuman is a hammer on top !! Interesting match up early.

Dan Gable was undefeated through 4 years of college wrestling minus 1 match. Everyone can be beat. No sure things wrestling fans. Cox has had some great wins, but has had some in state losses in high school also. He will battle through some great competition to get to the finals. Michael has beaten all that Cox will go through. Will be an interesting finals match IF they both get there! Past resumes will mean nothing when both step out for their final high school matches representing their respective schools and entertaining all of us. Good luck to all involved in that bracket and every other bracket. Their state title will not be any bigger, more gold, or worth anymore than any other weight class. Can't wait til Thursday!

I have watched Will Cox quite a few times in the past two years. He is a guy who will use more techniques and pinning combinations than any other wrestler you will see. He has an uncommon ability to see opportunities that exist, regardless of the position he is in and then execute a technique to score and/or pin.
In other words, there is not one or two moves to watch out for with him.
Another piece of trivia to remember is that Cox was part of the stellar 132 pound weight class at last year's WSAZ. He beat Winfield's Humphreys (might be spelling this wrong) and then lost 3-1 on a last second takedown to Simpkins.
He has wrestled 145 and 152 all season long and I believe his only losses are to out of state competition.

The rumor in the stands was that Cox went to 152 to help his team. I never heard where he was having trouble making 145, so it must be true.
145 would have been an easier ride for him for sure. I have never heard of a defending state champion going up in weight at the season's end to wrestle in a tougher weight class. This is unheard of.

I love the predictions for the most part but don't count out libertys Kolten Jones he pinned grafton Logan Lake! Now granted I know Daniels will win it all pretty easily. But lake I heard only weighed 184 and wrestling 220 that's crazy I wonder why he would do that. He should be at 182. I can see why he wouldn't want to wrestle 195 but still.

PJ Bowlin weighed 178 last year and placed 6th at 220. He had to work hard just to make minimum allowed weight. He couldve wrestled 70 or 95 but 220 was the best fit for his style. Sometimes you gotta look at match ups and the style of wrestling when it comes to the bigger guys.
