Re: WSAZ High School Tournament CANCELLED
Really bad for all the Seniors that have prepared hard for this tournament. Everyone would have been in town before storm really hit. If kids are transported by parents I think it should be their decision as to whether the kids wrestle, not the school. This is a completely different situation than basketball or football games being postponed. This many teams won't be able to find replacement matches or tournaments. Our team had decided to go to Huntington tonight to avoid any weather and I'm sure others had too. Just a real disappointment.

What cam's dad said. Really sucks for the seniors, and us parents of the seniors. We were already on our way to Huntington.
The forecast I just saw has dropped the forecast for Huntington to 6 to ten inches from Friday morning to Saturday evening. We had twice that on regional Saturday last year :-/

Re: WSAZ High School Tournament CANCELLED
I beleive the safty of the kids and parents returning home after the tournament was there biggest concern not getting their but heading back out after it was over. This storm could shut down the turnpike and I79 NORTH with the amount of snow we are going to get. I have seen on here that the WV DUALS will take a few more teams. there will be some great wrestling up there next week.

Charleston got around 18 inches. It was bad. I just wish the snow would have hit in March.
