Best Head to Head Match of the Season, that Could Be a State Finals Match
Best Head to Head Match of the Season, that Could Be a State Finals Match
What is the best match you have seen this season; that could have been a preview of a state finals (or semi-finals -Pill dependant) match?
Some that come to mind are Martin Vs Martin-Best, Hall Vs Ray, AA 170, AAA 160, Dolan Vs Donahue, Stockett Vs Dolan. What other good head to heads have occurred?
No negativity, flash back of the season and look forward to the post-season.

Best v Martin will be one for the ages. I also think Porter/Haga. Should see both of them next weekend again and for the first time. Moler and Quiocho could get a 3rd come states.

i seen the Greebrier West 170 and the Wirt Co 170. Very well could be a state finals match.
I also seen the Clay 152 vs Roane 152. Not sure it can be a state finals match, but was a good one.

Any of the 170's this year could fall into that category. All close and all have beaten each other up.

If Ward from Winfield stays at 52 I would say Ward and Harvey will be a good one.

Clay 152 and Roane 152 faced off in the LKC finals yesterday. Clay 152 wins 5-4 in OT. Very good matchMywvu wrote:i seen the Greebrier West 170 and the Wirt Co 170. Very well could be a state finals match.

This past weekend, University vs Huntington. The 106 match was probably the best match of the night Stocket vs Doss, Doss was up 3-2 heading into the 3rd but Stocket came back winning 3-5. Haven’t seen much about Doss all season but he might upset some people at regionals and states this year.

It has to be Rea and Hall
This is a case where it actually helps that they are in the same region.
No matter who wins the region and who is runner up they will be seperated at states by the pill ( please correct me if Im wrong ) since they both are coming out of the same region.
Last year I believe that happened with laya and hall ( laya won region and hall won the rematch at states)

That weight class also has Hunter Taylor and Lane Flint, it is possible for 3 of them to be on one side of the bracket, giving one a gauntlet and the other a much easier road.

Any on who attended the Big10 Tournament had a chance to watch 2 excellent matches that should be State Final matches depending on that horrible thing called the PILL. 113 LBS Grafton Hodges VS East Fairmont Whorton Final 1-0 in favor of Whorton. HWT Grafton Ware VS West Fairmont Fraizer.. Final 3-2 in favor of Fraizer..

Frazier Also pinned Ware. Frazier wins another championship EASY! Heavyweight is weak this year compared to previous years in AA but I think ware has a shot a to get there! But heavyweight you just never know. Not a lot of offensive wrestling other than from Frazier and that’s going to be the difference
