Mid-Atlantic Independent Girls Open Championships, Feb 1st, 2025

On Saturday Feb 1st, 2025, there will be a Mid-Atlantic Independent Girls Open Championships. This is a tournament open ONLY to girls in private or independent schools not associated with any public school or public school organizations. This is being hosted at Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, VA) in Southwest Virginia as we want to do our part to help grow girls wrestling amongst Mid-Atlantic private schools. We want this to have a feel of a girls state championship so there will be individual medals for top 3, trophies for top 3 teams, a banner given to the championship team as well as a MVW awards.
To be eligible, wrestlers must be from Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, DC, Delaware, West Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia & South Carolina & be registered into the Trackwrestling/OPC for 2024-25. The entry fee would be $35 per wrestler & capped at $250 for team. The entry fee is to cover refs & expenses.
